Hi, I’m Rev. Carrie Burnap! With a heart for ministry and a passion for connection. My journey began at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, and then on to Andover Newton Theology School, where I met my husband Dean. We’re blessed with three amazing kids – Sam (12) Clara (10) and Anna (5) – and call Auburn, NH home. In ministry, I’m most passionate about pastoral care and preaching. Personally, I’m renewed through physical activity like running and Pure Bar, There’s just something about physically exhausting your body that lets the Spirit speak in deep ways. With my family, I cherish beach days and cozy movie nights with popcorn on the couch these are moments that remind me of God’s love and joy. That God is most often found in the ordinary!

Sandra Olson
Sandy came to First Parish Church in January 2025, just after the Christmas season.
A lifelong resident of New Hampshire, Sandy has resided in Salem and Derry, and is now realizing her dream of living near the ocean, in Seabrook with her two cats and Labrador, Ella.
Earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 1985, she enjoyed a lengthy career directing instrumental and choral ensembles, teaching trombone, music theory, accompanying performances on piano, guitar, and especially loved making music with special needs students in music classes. Sandy spent the last twenty-four years of her teaching career right down the road, at Pinkerton Academy where she retired in 2024. She is thankful for all of the travel opportunities, wonderful students, colleagues and musical fulfillment that she had been given.
Sandy is honored to be able to share her love of people, music and God while being able to include a variety of styles of Christian music. She also appreciates the opportunity to play the church’s pipe organ while she strives to continually grow as a musician. She views the ability to enhance the worship experience of the members of the congregation and to receive such appreciation and support from them in return, is such a blessed gift.
If you have questions about anything music related, email Sandy at : music@fpc-ucc.org.
