Concert with the Gloucester Student Band
All are invited to come listen to live music by the Gloucester Student Band on Friday, August 23 at 3pm at the First Parish Congregational Church in East Derry. (Concert will be outdoors on the lawn, weather permitting, or indoors in case of rain). Concert is free and open to the public. A free will offering will be collected to benefit the church.
Gloucester Student Band (GSB) is a 501c3 nonprofit group formed in 2022 in Gloucester, MA with the mission to offer practice and performance opportunities to student musicians in grades 5-12. GSB is separate and independent from the school district and school band programs. They play a variety of concert band repertoire including pop songs and movie music, on flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French Horn, and drums.
This concert will be the second stop of the Gloucester Student Band 2024 Summer Tour, which consists of two days and one night in New Hampshire with four performances.
